The Glennallen Community Parade Committee is seeking donations for ourAnnual July 4th Community Parade and Family Fun Day. This year’s parade theme is “Copper River Salmon.” Plans for our 2012 Independence Day Festivities are well on their way. As in the past years, it is sure to be another fun-filled day for our small town. Each year we strive to collect donations from businesses frequently visited by our community members. We use the donations as prizes for winning parade participants and Family Fun Day activities.
Since this parade is attended by local community members as well asmany tourists traveling through our area, this is an excellent opportunity to advertise your business in the Copper River Basin. We will be publicly acknowledging the Independence Day sponsors during the local radio coverage of the parade by KCAM and in our annual article published by the local newspaper, Copper River Record.
Our July 4th activities our based solely on donations from contributing businesses, so on behalf of the community members of Glenallen and surrounding areas, we would like to thank you for your time and consideration for supporting this event. Donations can be mailed to the address listed below. If you have any questions or would like further information please contact
Greg Boyd or Aaron Jackson at 822-5252 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org

For a comfortable and historic Alaska lodge, look no further than Kennicott Glacier Lodge. Built in 1987, the Kennicott Lodge is a replica of one of the historic mining buildings from the copper mining boom town days. We are located near the center of the 40 remaining structures in the ghost town of Kennicott, a company town built circa 1910.
The Main Lodge has 25 Guest rooms, a dining room, 2 living rooms, and a 190 foot long front porch with a panoramic view of the Chugach and Wrangell Mountains.

Fly Fishing had it's humble beginnings 200 years after the birth of Christ in Macedonia when they used a small wooden rod with a few feet of line. On the line was a hook with a piece of red yarn and two duck feathers.Things have certainly become more elaborate over the years, but the simple pleasure from fishing has never gone out of style.
I started tying fishing flies over 20 years ago because I could never find the one I was looking for in the tackle shops at a price I could afford! I have been marketing my flies in Alaska since 1982 and make custom flies for any fly fishing in the world. You can view my work here and on e-bay. I am looking forward to receiving your orders at Sourdough Joe's Tried and Tested Flys.
